My apologies for the state of extensions. My plan is to set up an extensions repository that can be used to manage and get all of the extensions available for any Lussumo application, but I haven't had time to set it up yet.

You can get the yellowfade extension (which was written by Michael Raichelson) from here:

    http://michaelraichelson.com/hacks/vanilla/

Once you have the file(s), upload them to your Vanilla's extensions folder. Then sign in as an administrator and go to settings > manage extensions to turn it on.

We need a central repository for extensions (not necessarily lussumo-run, but something other than a page of mostly dead links to other people's servers)

You could make a small vanilla forum with the attachment extension enabled...

Nah. I'm going to make something custom as an extension off of Vanilla.

I want registered members of the community to be able to upload/add extensions - and then after I review them (to make sure there's no obvious "evil code") I'll mark it as approved by Lussumo. I can also have a status on each extension so I can mark something as dangerous if a security hole is discovered.

The idea is to make it so that downloads of extensions can be recorded and later ranked for popularity.

would this same thing apply for themes? Remember I suggested utilizing UMO code a while back?
