    Too many features for my fancy. Honestly I can't think of one time when I would have used the Sub/Super script function on a post. I'd be in favor of something lighter, more Vanillaish.

    I think it refers to it being Open-Source. However it does say it's supposed to be cross-browser compatible so it should really work in Safari...

    Nope, it actually says on their site they would like to make it work with Safari because "it seems to be getting popular" but no way with Opera because it is "not worth the development and testing time".
