i run a site called grouphug.us. it's quite popular and an often-requested feature is to add discussions around the site's content. the site's content is upwards of thousands of confessions each day. i current run vanilla on grouphug.us, but creating these threads by hand is really out of the question. so i'm interested in a relatively simple extension for vanilla that would allow for a link on each confession to the forums ('discuss this confession") which, when clicked, would: check to see if a thread exists for that confession id; if not, create the thread with the appropriate title and text; if it already exists, simply pass the user to it. any takers? since this is a custom extension of limited value to other users, i'm happy to pay an agreeable fee.
'quite popular'? :P I have about 5 projects on the go which i've promised to do for people and really not got very far since, but if noone else offers (which i'm sure they probably will) I'll take a look tomorrow.
Hello gabe. I've checked out your website. Although I never heard of it (in the Netherlands), it's a great concept and I think it helps many people. Therefor I would like to create that extension for you without any costs. If you need my assistance, contact me by whisper or something.
gabe - i've always been amazed by your site to contain some of the flat out funniest diatribes on the internet while simontaneously having some of the most depressing. (no offense) - it is imo one of the most unique concepts for a website, and looks great too :)

post anonymously (or at least give random entry number, n+1) moderate entries (or flag or tag entries. so evereything tagged as "breaks rules" could be read by editors and moderated)
toivo: you may have had trouble reading my first post: i'm not looking to clone my current site using vanilla, only to integrate vanilla a bit more with how people use my site.
