hah. Well when i was admin i made a second account, made that admin, and then used it to douche myself...which mark didnt seem to like. So he reset both my accounts to normal user. Then i cried and begged for the douche.
The thing about a lot of those downloads, is that they'll be people interested in having a look and maybe setting up a test server to play, but not in running it on an actual website. So, yes, 1 in 10 donating $10 would be awesome, but that's actually more like 1 in 2 people who use the forum donating that much.
Meh, just my odd ramblings really, don't let me put a damper on your fab progress ^^
Well, I ran the stats and today has actually been our slowest day since July 19th. Wierd that people couldn't get in here.
I actually think that the problem might be with my DNS server (ZoneEdit). I've heard from a few other people (since signing up) that sometimes ZoneEdit can be slow to deliver or fail entirely.
That sucks bums.
But as for traffic slowing down, I'm actually a little relieved. I hope it doesn't die off entirely, but it was stressful just knowing that so many people were looking at my stuff.
Hrm, yea at my office I couldn't get in to the site all day until 3 pm. It would load, and either just keep 'loading' or it would load without the stylesheet. I have no idea what that was about. All other websites worked fine.
If you're getting through to the site, then it must be a networking issue.
Next time that happens, open up a command line and run:
tracert lussumo.com
Anytime it can't contact a server along the way, it will put a * in there. That way you can see where the network is choking. If it is anywhere near my server cluster, I'll contact my hosting provider and complain.
