    Came across this site http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/

How cool would it be to see all posts and comments on one of these time-lines ;-)

    *bump*

I think that this is an original, graphical (GUI?), at-a-glance event-timeline; whose Vanilla-incorporation would benefit users with event bulletin-boards.

Do we already have an extension / beta?

Alternatively, what are your thoughts about achieving this?

its not easy to use. adding event in the timeline requires u editing an xml file

I started looking at doing this but then realized how complicated the graph would be to show all Discussions and all associated Comments. But this is a programming challenge and I will try to move forward. Is there a function in Vanilla that will build a link for you by passing it certaing comment information?
