This release includes fixes for all of the lingering javascript, ajax, and CSRF problems that we've been struggling with over the last week.

Many thanks go out to all of the kickass people here at the Community who once again not only reported the bugs, but also provided fixes for them.

If you are one of the people who already upgraded to Vanilla 1.1 or 1.1.1, I have explained how to upgrade to Vanilla 1.1.2 here. It's really really really easy, I promise.

For everyone else who didn't upgrade yet...

    Where can I get it?

What is included in this release?

Details can be found here: http://lussumo.com/swell/148/Vanilla-112-Released/
    or here: http://getvanilla.com/changelog.html

How do I upgrade from my current version of Vanilla?

    Read the instructions here: http://lussumo.com/upgrade/

I don't feel like upgrading. Why should I?

If you are running Vanilla 1.0.x or previous, upgrade because there is an important security patch in this release that prevents an attacker from becoming an administrator on your board. If you want a cool reason, it's super fun to watch the update checker look for extension updates. If you want a usability reason, it's way easier to approve a bunch of applicants at once in the new version.

If you are running Vanilla 1.1 or greater, upgrade because you've probably got bugs in your Vanilla (even if you haven't noticed them yet, your users probably will) and it's super-duper easy. Once again, upgrade instructions are here: http://lussumo.com/upgrade

I installed it and I'm having problems. What should I do?

There is a 90% chance you will find the answer you are looking for if you search this forum.

Good luck and thanks for your continued support!
