String formatters don't seem to work in extension.php page.
Am I missing something. Textile extension doesn't have the usual SelfURL check. So it must be something to do with String Formatter not working on Extension.php page
They also don't work in Page Manager pages which uses index.php

Whats so special about the comments.php page

ok u have to take the content and run it through the formatter.
