    I think this is one has anything to do with vanilla. Unless you're attempting to harvest hit-stats via an extension somehow by embeding a portion of the code used in bbclone.

    BBclone is very pickey were you place it's counting code.

    Make sure you have the feedback options switched on, so you can see in your source if it tries ... fails or gives you a succesful message in the delivered page.

    BBclone has some excellent docs onsite.

    I spent some time on BBClone site but I couldn't find any solution. I think BBClone is a very useful app for all vanilla users.
    I will try the extension solution and see where i can get.
