I am a new user and some things I can't figure out...

    1. how to post images? I try <img src> tag but I just get text, I checked admin and it shows I can post html... what am I missing? check out www. footballexperts.com

    2. is there a way to let people get usernames without me having to approve them?

thanks for helping me out! after reading through the posts this forum layout really grows on you.

In order to post images, you need to add one of the different comment formatters like Html. Then when you use your img tag it will know what to do with it. You can enable different formatters from your extensions form in the settings tab.

In order to allow people to automatically be approved, you just need to use the registration management form (again in the settings tab) and change the "new member role" for new users to "Member" (or any other role that has sign-in ability).

I'm half-way through the "how to build a control" document. Then on to the fun task of documenting every single class in the system.
