    I am a complete novice but I have managed to put a web site up on the internet.I am trying to add a Vanilla forum to my site which I have already downloaded. The website is hosted by GoDaddy.com. Does this mean that Go Daddy is my server and if so how do I upload the files.
    I would be very grateful for any information.

    Godaddy is your host. They will provide you with an address, login and password that you can then use via an FTP program (I prefer SmartFTP) to move all your files and folders UP to their server. The trick is finding that information within your GoDaddy account control panel!
