Vanilla: How does a user figure out their lost username if they forget their password?

    let's say I am a user.

    I forgot my password.

    I click the password form, and Vanilla asks for my username. Darn it. Bad Day for this user. I forgot my username too.

    Now what?

    Is there away to have a user look up their username via the email address?

    I didn't see anything, and I am wondering if I missed it.

    if they have access to the forum (not forced to log in to see the forum), they can search for users by their email address.

    Thanks, but that is only if the user elects to show the email address. correct? or am I missing something?

    hmmm, I guess you're right... i put something about this in the duplicate email check addon's discussion..
    it would need to be an addon, and without a duplicate email checker, there would be no point in being able to reset a password by email.
