Random: Backing Up

    Hi, new to upgrades. What is the best way to back up my forum when I upgrade so I don't lose material if something happens when I upgrade? Thanks.

    There is an extension that I wrote called zip2mail. It should help. It helps you backup the sql database and the extensions and themes you may have installed. It doesn't backup the entire forum. What I usually do is to copy my entire forum using the FileZilla FTP client. I just drag the vanilla forum folder on my web site to my local computer and it copies everything except the sql data. Then you have to back that up.
